Panguma Travel Team UPDATE
APRIL 29, 2019
Pastor Gary Weaver and Drew Robeson started the day with 14 others for morning prayer at 5:30am! The travel team took a long walk around the village today, interacting with lots of people that were full of big smiles. What a wonderful community this is! There are new houses and even new roads!
Students from the Lower Bambara Secondary School came to say hi, even though Easter Break continues until May. The head girl is a scholarship recipient and has a very bright future. We continue to believe that education is key to breaking the cycle of poverty! The Camp Hill UMC Scholarship Campaign runs from May 12–June 9th and we hope you will consider participating!
The travel team also connected with the United Methodist Women’s group for a time of praising God and encouragement!
Donated soccer jerseys are always appreciated! These boys have formed their own team and Drew is now the team manager. They mostly live inside the Panguma Hospital compound, so they are named Compound FC.
Tomorrow is the travel team’s last day in the village. Thank you for continuing to lift the travel team up in prayer.
