The flower ministry at Camp Hill UMC provides an opportunity for volunteers to visit people who are home-bound, in hospital or rehab. Volunteers deliver flowers, which are the ones donated to the church sitting at the front of the sanctuary during worship services. Volunteers need to “read the room” which means if the person receiving the flowers wishes to chat, they should chat; if the recipient has company, gracefully leave, or if they need rest, let them rest. Flowers may be delivered after second service of church or Monday. Volunteers must be willing to meet the coordinator to pick up flowers after the 11am worship service on Sundays or on Mondays at the church office during office hours (9am to 4pm).
