New Hope Ministries is a Christian social service agency that shows the hope and love of Christ by serving our neighbors in times of need and supporting their efforts towards stability. At Camp Hill UMC, we simply love New Hope Ministries because they give people an opportunity to break out of the cycle of poverty beyond Camp Hill UMC giving them a gift card as a temporary fix. NHM has six locations and even a mobile food pantry to meet the needs of people on the West Shore! The West Shore Center and the Mechanicsburg Center are both close to church and have various people who volunteer weekly from church. Most volunteer opportunities are personalized to the individual and fulfilling specific needs for New Hope. Give them a call to find a place and time that works for you or your family! Help New Hope Ministries care for the local poor by dropping off gently used clothes, shoes, bedding or towels into the Community Aid Donation Bin located in the lower parking lot of Camp Hill UMC! Community Aid donates roughly $300 in gift cards to New Hope Ministries quarterly, helping the poor purchase clothing as needs arise.
Flexible. Call today to find an opportunity to serve!
