April 5, 2020
Rev. Dr. Gary Weaver, Lead Pastor
Rev. Anna Layman Knox, Lead Associate Pastor
We will offer a modified worship experience via live stream only from the Worship Center at 9:30 am. You can find a link to our live stream on our home page, camphillumc.org/livestream, or directly on YouTube.
Our leadership team is carefully and continually monitoring this situation. As information evolves, camphillumc.org/coronavirus is the primary, most up-to-date place for you to receive answers to commonly asked questions. We are committed to doing everything we can to provide a safe environment for our church family and surrounding community.
The Camp Hill UMC campus is currently closed. The church office will remain open with modified hours. On Mondays, the office will be open from 9:00 am—4:00 pm. Every other day of the week, the office will be open from 9:00 am—noon. For the safety of you, our community, and our staff, please call or email rather than visiting. If you must stop by, please call in advance. You can find our list of contact information by visiting camphillumc.org/staff or you can call the church office at 717-737-5631. Thank you for your patience during this time.
The church office will be closed Easter Monday.
We have heard from many of you who are searching for ways to offer your talents and spirit to your neighbors. We are excited that we are bringing together those who are in need and those who are willing to help. If you are in need of food, someone to run an errand for you, or someone to talk to, we want to connect you with those in the church who care. So, if you are in need or you want to give of yourself, please visit camphillumc.org/bethechurch. Questions, contact Drew Robeson at
Your generosity makes a difference! Please continue to faithfully give financial offerings online or by mail so that the mission and ministry of Camp Hill UMC thrives all the more in the midst of difficult days.

Dinner Time is Prayer Time! The church leadership has listed ideas for prayer for you to consider each day, and we invite you to add your own personal prayers. Every day (except for Saturday Sabbath), someone from Camp Hill UMC will be engaging with you on Facebook Live at 6:30 pm. In our church’s pattern of praying together at dinner time, we invite you to join in these “community” events and to add your prayers to the chorus. Check out the April Prayer Calendar by visiting camphillumc.org/prayertime.
You can still drop off items outside the church office. Please call 717-737-5631 beforehand. Thank you!

The Panguma Travel Team will not be making the journey to Panguma. Travel restrictions have added great complexity to that trip. So, please keep our siblings in Panguma in prayer and those who had committed to being part of the travel team, as we continue to work together to schedule a new time to make that journey to Sierra Leone—we hope, in the fall. If God is calling you to be on the travel team, contact Drew Robeson at email@example.com.
Team Panguma is partnering with the UMWomen of the Lower Bambara United Methodist Church in Panguma. We are collecting undergarment new/used items for men and women. We will continue to collect items until the Fall.
Created for a Purpose is a creative arts camp for girls who are going to be in 3rd to 8th grade. The camp is July 27th—July 31st from 8:30 am to 2:00 pm. Each day the girls will do one of the following creative arts: cooking, sewing, painting, sculpting, and jewelry. The registration forms can be found on camphillumc.org/summercamp. We also need volunteers to help with the camp. If you would like to be a volunteer or have questions, please contact Jane Allen, firstname.lastname@example.org or 717-737-1801.
Occasional DRIVERS Needed: Sometimes Camp Hill UMC parishioners require someone to drive them to doctor’s appointments or errands. If you are willing to have your name added to a resource list of folks available on an “as needed” basis, contact Pastor Sharon at email@example.com or call 717-691-8241 indicating your availability.
Are you willing and able to drive a small bus on occasion to Bethany Village Sunday mornings for the 11:00 am worship service? The good news is that a CDL license is not required due to the size of the bus. Training and instruction will be provided. Please contact Allan Bartron for more info or to offer your service for this important transportation ministry at 717-737-1801 or firstname.lastname@example.org. The bus is currently not running, but will need drivers when we resume in-person worship services.
