Join our Welcome Parade for Pastor Kathy!

Help us make a lasting impression, by joining our welcome procession! On Sunday, July 12th from 11:00 am until 12:30 pm, Pastor Kathy will be outside Camp Hill UMC eager to meet and greet YOU. Decorate your car, drop off a card, or honk and wave!

White Fragility by Robin Diangelo

Join us this summer as we read the book White Fragility by Robin Diangelo. As you read, take notes, pray about it, talk about it in your home, and with those in your circle. At the end of the summer, we will create a space for the congregation to talk about the book as a platform to talk openly and as a community of faith about racism. Jesus calls us not to turn away from the challenging issues but to join together and work towards a more just world.

Singles for Jesus

Everyone is going through a challenging time. Each of us brings to the table different situations and needs. Singles for Jesus is a way to have singles feel like they have a family via the group. On July 14th, There will be a gathering in Jim Massey’s backyard at 7 pm. You can stay socially distant but yet have fellowship and get to know people better. Pizza and drinks will be provided. Please come with ideas for the group to do as activities, service projects, possible studies, and an open mind to make the group a part of your regular routine. Contact Jim Massey if you’re interested in attending and for his address at jmassey22@verizon.net or 717-979-4580.

Unified Leadership Council

The Unified Leadership Council will meet next on July 21st at 6:30 pm online. These meetings are open to all members and friends of the church. July Prayer Time Calendar

In John 15:15-16, Jesus says, “I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you. You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you.”

Talking with God develops a deeper relationship with Him. The deeper the relationship becomes, the more time you want to spend with Him. When you feel like your world is spinning out of control, when storms hit, when you’re taken over by worry, when sickness and fatigue strike, let prayer be your stability, calm, and tranquility. You’ll find rest and recovery in Christ.

The church leadership has listed ideas for prayer for you to consider each day. Prayers will be listed on camphillumc.org/prayertime and daily on our Facebook and Instagram pages. Feel free to add additional prayers that come to your mind and heart for people and situations in our local church, The United Methodist Church, the global church, and the wider world.

Be The Church

We have heard from many of you who are searching for ways to offer your talents and spirit to your neighbors. We are excited that we are bringing together those who are in need and those who are willing to help. If you are in need of food, someone to run an errand for you, or someone to talk to, we want to connect you with those in the church who care. So, if you are in need or you want to give of yourself, please visit camphillumc.org/bethechurch. Questions, contact Drew Robeson at

COVID-19 Update

Our leadership team is carefully and continually monitoring this situation. As information evolves, camphillumc.org/coronavirus is the primary, most up-to-date place for you to receive answers to commonly asked questions. We are committed to doing everything we can to provide a safe environment for our church family and surrounding community. A re-entry team is planning for in-person worship to begin July 19th. More details to come.

The Camp Hill UMC campus is currently closed. The church office will remain open with modified hours. On Mondays, the office will be open from 9:00 am—4:00 pm. Every other day of the week, the office will be open from 9:00 am—noon. For the safety of you, our community, and our staff, please call or email rather than visiting. If you must stop by, please call in advance. You can find our list of contact information by visiting camphillumc.org/staff or you can call the church office at 717-737-5631.
