Rev. Dr. Gary Weaver, Lead Pastor, preaching
Rev. Dr. Stephen Gallaher, Associate Teaching Minister
Rev. Sharon Miller, Pastor of Homebound Ministry
Sunday, June 21st is Pastor Gary’s last preaching Sunday here at Camp Hill UMC. In this awkward COVID season, many of us have found it hard to celebrate milestones like weddings, graduations, and goodbyes so we invite you to a Drive-By Goodbye for Pastor Gary and Cindy.
On Sunday, June 21st from 11:00 am until 12:30 pm, Pastor Gary and Cindy will be standing at the front doors. We hope that you have an opportunity to drive by and say goodbye as the Weaver’s move upstream to Lewisburg.
The Unified Leadership Council will meet next on June 23rd at 6:30 pm online. These meetings are open to all members and friends of the church. To read past meeting minutes, visit camphillumc.org/unified. For information on how to log in to the Zoom meeting, contact Georgia Reisinger at email@example.com.
We have outgrown our current APP! We are hoping to implement a new mobile app by the fall. You can find all the information that lived on the app on our mobile-friendly website, camphillumc.org, including the weekly prayer list, weekly news, giving, etc. If you have any questions or concerns, contact Leslie Petersheim at firstname.lastname@example.org. Feel free to delete the current mobile app!
Children are more than the church of tomorrow; they are a vital part of the church today! The vision of CHUM Children is to grow children’s hearts for God. We want children to experience for themselves who God is, how He sees them, and how much He loves them. We were given prayer as a way to communicate with God directly. Teaching our children to pray helps them to understand that God is always accessible and always there for them.
The children of Camp Hill UMC have listed ideas for prayer for you to consider each day, and we invite you to add your own personal prayers. Beginning June 1st, prayers will be listed on camphillumc.org/prayertime and daily on our Facebook and Instagram pages.
It is more important now than ever to continue to connect with others during our shelter-in-place order. Are you looking for a practical way to stay connected to our church family? We are now offering virtual small groups! Visit camphillumc.org/virtualgroups for current offerings or to register for us to form a new virtual group including you. Questions, contact Sandy Zirbel at email@example.com.
We have heard from many of you who are searching for ways to offer your talents and spirit to your neighbors. We are excited that we are bringing together those who are in need and those who are willing to help. If you are in need of food, someone to run an errand for you, or someone to talk to, we want to connect you with those in the church who care. So, if you are in need or you want to give of yourself, please visit camphillumc.org/bethechurch. Questions, contact Drew Robeson at
Every day (except for Saturday Sabbath), someone from Camp Hill UMC will be engaging with you on Facebook Live at 6:30 pm. In our church’s pattern of praying together at dinner time, we invite you to join in these “community” events and to add your prayers to the chorus.

Our leadership team is carefully and continually monitoring this situation. As information evolves, camphillumc.org/coronavirus is the primary, most up-to-date place for you to receive answers to commonly asked questions. We are committed to doing everything we can to provide a safe environment for our church family and surrounding community.
The Camp Hill UMC campus is currently closed. The church office will remain open with modified hours. On Mondays, the office will be open from 9:00 am—4:00 pm. Every other day of the week, the office will be open from 9:00 am—noon. For the safety of you, our community, and our staff, please call or email rather than visiting.
