Palm Sunday marks the beginning of Holy Week. On this day we remember Jesus’ triumphant entry into Jerusalem, when crowds welcomed him with palm branches and shouts of praise. It is a joyful moment that also begins the journey toward the cross and the events that lead to Easter.

Maundy Thursday remembers the night Jesus shared the Last Supper with his disciples. During this meal, Jesus washed their feet and gave them a new commandment: to love one another as he loved them.

Good Friday is the solemn day when we remember the crucifixion and death of Jesus. Through Scripture, prayer, and reflection, we consider the depth of Christ’s sacrifice and the love shown through the cross. Though it is a day of sorrow, it points us toward the hope that comes with Easter.

Easter is a day of celebration and joy as we remember that Jesus rose from the dead. We proclaim the good news together: He is risen! It is the moment when sorrow gives way to hope and new life breaks into the world. Through Jesus we celebrate that love is stronger than death and that we are invited into new life and lasting hope.
