Camp Hill UMC
What To Expect
Each Sunday we gather to hear the Word of God and learn how to apply it to our everyday lives. We offer a traditional-style service with hymns, choir, and more liturgical elements and a modern-style service that utilizes media, modern music, and other creative elements. You are invited to join us online or in-person at 9:30 am. We also share in other fresh expressions of non-traditional worship on days of the week beyond Sundays.
> How early should I arrive?
We recommend getting here 15 to 20 minutes early to account for parking, checking in, and finding a seat.
> What should I wear?
We believe God cares more about the state of our hearts than the state of our attire, so we encourage you to dress the way that feels most appropriate to you; that’s your “Sunday best.” Some folks at Camp Hill UMC dress casually, while others are more comfortable in a suit and tie.
> Am I invited to take Communion?
Absolutely! Christ our Lord invites to his table all who love him, who earnestly repent of their sin, and seek to live in peace with one another. Christ’s table is open to all.
> Do you offer Sunday School classes for adults?
Yes! We offer both in-person and virtual small groups for adults. Find a group.
> What about my teens?
Student Ministry is Sunday nights and is open to 6th-12th graders. Learn more.
> What about my kids?
We love it when children participate in all worship experiences at Camp Hill UMC! Families in our congregation make a variety of decisions about where and how their children worship both in “formal” worship services and in Sunday School. Camp Hill Kids is designed for children from preschool through fifth grade. Your child experiences age-appropriate teaching, music, and fun activities designed to introduce them to a life-changing journey of following Jesus Christ. We utilize a check-in system that ensures a safe environment for your child and also allows for efficient drop-off and pick-up for parents. We also have an fully-staffed nursery space for your convenience. Sunday School and the nursery space are available during the 9:30 am hour. Learn more.
> I have more questions!
